"notes": "The joint annual report 2025 of the Danish police and prosecution service, signed on 17 March 2026, sets out under the heading 'Implementering af AI-assistent til juridisk informationssøgning' (implementation of an AI assistant for legal information searches), in its section on the prosecution service's expectations for the coming year, that the prosecution service will implement a new AI tool for legal information searches in 2026. The report says the tool is to supplement the tools staff already have and that its purpose is to support quality, legality and efficiency in criminal case handling. It does not name the tool, a supplier or a start date, and does not say the tool is in use. Under the Administration of Justice Act the police directors are among Denmark's public prosecutors, so the prosecution service includes the prosecutors in the police districts.",
