    "notes": "AlgorithmWatch CH's Atlas of Automation (published June 2023) records that Precobs has not been used in the canton of Basel-Landschaft since 2020 because it no longer met the increased requirements of crime analysis, and names LogObject AG as the developer. Blick (18 October 2024) reports instead that Basel-Landschaft ended the project in 2021 because the forecasts were too imprecise; the two sources differ on the year. SRF (30 October 2017) had reported the Basel-Landschaft cantonal police among the users alongside the Stadtpolizei Zürich and the Kantonspolizei Aargau. The atlas dates Precobs use in Switzerland as a whole to 2013; the canton's own start date was not found.",
