"notes": "The Ministry of Justice's Justice AI Unit page on its \"AI for All\" programme (a year-one snapshot covering 30 July 2025 to 30 July 2026, stated to be accurate as of 24 September 2026) says that \"All MOJ staff now have access to Copilot Chat as our foundational offer\", across headquarters and agencies, as a general assistant for drafting, summarisation, brainstorming and research, and that the Ministry has \"continued to expand Microsoft 365 Copilot across priority roles and business areas\". It gives no user numbers or start dates and does not name the agencies covered. The same page says the Ministry was \"the first government department to pilot an enterprise deployment of ChatGPT\", which it uses for complex reasoning, research, coding and specialist technical work; that is a different supplier's product and is not covered by this record. The Ministry's Justice Transcribe and Violence in Prisons Estimator tools are recorded separately.",
