"notes": "The Polish Ministry of the Interior and Administration said on 10 April 2026 that the Border Guard's Entry/Exit System operates at all 71 road, rail, air and sea border crossings in Poland. The system collects fingerprints and facial images, and the ministry says the Border Guard has created more than 2 million biometric profiles. It gives figures of 5.6 million entry or exit records since rollout and 6,500 refusals of entry to non-EU nationals, and says the system flags people who exceed 90 days of stay in any 180 days. The ministry says the system first went live on 12 October 2025 at Medyka-Szeginie and Przemyśl-Mościska, with Kraków-Balice the last crossing to implement it. The EU-wide system is operated centrally by eu-LISA.",
