"notes": "Humberside Police introduced Bobbi on Tuesday 25 November 2025, according to a force announcement published on 4 December 2025. Bobbi is described as an AI virtual assistant built on Salesforce's Agentforce platform, 'designed to answer frequently asked, non-emergency questions' that would otherwise go to call handlers in the force control rooms, and supplements existing online forms, phone lines and front counters. The force describes itself as 'one of the first forces in the country to trial' it. Salesforce's press release of the same date, a company claim, names Humberside alongside Thames Valley Police and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary; it quotes Assistant Chief Officer Chris Philpott of Humberside Police and gives combined figures (more than 600 users in the first week, 82 per cent of queries resolved without escalation to an officer) and no Humberside-only figures. A contract details notice published on 28 November 2025 shows the Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside awarded the University of Sussex a contract worth £13,662 (excluding VAT), titled as an evaluation, running from 12 November 2025 to 31 January 2026; it says Humberside Police is 'developing an AI solution to assist police call handlers' but does not name the product, so it is not linked here to Bobbi. The Police and Crime Commissioner's office announced on 15 September 2025 that the Commissioner had signed a three-year, non-binding memorandum of understanding with Salesforce.",
