"notes": "A Devon and Cornwall Police Freedom of Information response (reference 01/FOI/26/010197/V, version dated 31 July 2026) says the force is piloting 'Secure Redact', described as an 'AI-assisted redaction platform' that automatically redacts or anonymises pre-selected personal identifiable information, alongside Dorset Police. About 100 officers and staff are involved. The response says no decision has been made on wider use and that governance meetings in July and September 2026 will review the pilot evidence. It does not name the supplier or give contract details; an Avon and Somerset response names a product called Pimloc SecureRedact, but the Devon and Cornwall response does not say whether it is the same product.",
