"notes": "Established by the Danish National Police's own page on its processing of personal data, which states that Rigspolitiet is data controller for ANPG, that its purpose is to obtain images of number plates from cameras, and that it is separately regulated by a named executive order whose chapter 4 sets deletion rules. Scale comes from secondary Danish reporting rather than a police publication: Version2, 4 November 2020, reported roughly 250 fixed ANPG cameras across Denmark, mobile cameras on 50-100 patrol vehicles at two cameras per vehicle, around 10 transportable manned camera sets, and a replacement tender valued at between 150 and 600 million kroner. The 'since' field is deliberately empty because two sources read in this run disagree: the Danish public-sector AI registry offentlig-ai.dk dates first police use to 2015, while Version2 says the system has been in operation since 2016. No supplier is named, for the same reason - offentlig-ai.dk names ITS Teknik A/S, but a large replacement procurement was under way in 2020 and no source read in this run establishes who supplies the system today. Oversight left empty: no source read names a specific supervisory arrangement for ANPG beyond ordinary Danish data protection law.",
