BBC – Trial of live facial recognition at Tube stations commences

Transport for London is running its first trial of live facial recognition cameras across Tube stations, beginning at London Victoria. Silkie Carlo, the director of campaign group Big Brother Watch, told the BBC that the rollout is a "disturbing and dystopian expansion" of the surveillance technology.
