Notes

Radio Kielce reported on 30 March 2025, citing a post by the Ministry of the Interior and Administration (MSWiA) on X, that the modernisation of the electronic barrier along the border fence with Belarus had been completed. It said the barrier operates along 206 km of the border in Podlaskie, that the modernisation cost more than PLN 125 million, and that "zastosowano mechanizm wykorzystujący sztuczną inteligencję do klasyfikacji alarmów" (a mechanism using artificial intelligence to classify alarms was applied) for the alarms from its fibre-optic detection cables. The system's monitoring centre is at the headquarters of the Podlaskie Border Guard Unit in Białystok.

The report gives no further technical detail, supplier or figures on alarms. The start date is when the ministry announced completion of the modernisation. No technology page fits this system yet. The separate 'Inteligentna Granica' system of the Cyberspace Defence Forces Component Command has its own record.
