Notes
HTX is investing about S$100m in a Home Team Humanoid Robotics Centre to develop humanoid robots for high-risk work such as firefighting, hazardous materials and search and rescue. Deployment is planned from as early as mid-2027, remotely controlled at first and autonomously from 2029. Later reporting (October 2026) describes deployment alongside public safety officers by 2028, including blast investigations and prison searches. No police unit has confirmed use.
