Facewatch, a private facial recognition company, is pitching to install its technology in British pharmacies. Campaign group Big Brother Watch has written to the Health and Social Care Committee calling for an urgent investigation into the plans. The group says nobody should be forced to trade their privacy for healthcare. It is also asking the public to sign a petition to stop facial recognition.
