Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar announced that the measures, covering July 9 to 12, aim to manage crowds and prevent stampedes, sabotage, and law-and-order issues while protecting lakhs of attending Warkari devotees. On July 9, Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj's procession will enter Pune via Bopkhel for an overnight stay in Bhawani Peth before departing towards Saswad on July 11. Sant Tukaram Maharaj's procession will enter the city on the same day through Harris Bridge in Khadki, halting overnight at Nana Peth before continuing its route through Hadapsar Gadital.
