Immigration Case Management and Targeting
A case-management and targeting platform for immigration enforcement that aggregates federal and commercial data into prioritised deportation target lists, each with a dossier and an address confidence score.
This category covers software that moves beyond simple case-file storage into active operational targeting: aggregating data from multiple federal sources, generating a prioritised list of enforcement targets, and producing a dossier on each one that includes an automatically generated confidence score estimating how likely a given address is to be current and accurate.
The most documented deployment is a set of three related Palantir systems built for US Immigration and Customs Enforcement: a case-management system, an operational layer described in its own contract language as managing the 'end to end immigration lifecycle from identification to removal', and an app generating a digital map of potential targets with per-target confidence scoring. In sworn court testimony, ICE officers confirmed the targeting app was used to identify arrest targets during a series of raids driven by daily arrest quotas.
The contracts underpinning these systems have generally been awarded sole-source rather than competitively bid, and no dedicated court ruling or statute constrains their use in the way seen in some other jurisdictions for comparable link-analysis software from the same vendor.
