Listed by the Home Office among 13 forces that had used or were using live facial recognition as of November 2025; the factsheet says Suffolk's use led to four people being located and arrested for failing to appear at court. The force announced further deployments for Lowestoft on 3 November, Bury St Edmunds on 4 November and Ipswich on 5 November 2026, using equipment borrowed from Bedfordshire Police (reported as NEC NeoFace).
