The department announced on 15 June 2026 an AI chat assistant on its website, launched with the South Carolina Department of Administration and provided by Tyler Technologies, extending 'Bradley', the AI resident assistant on SC.GOV. It answers questions from offenders, victims, courts and the public about agency history, open positions, offender statistics and supervision, pardon applications, victim services, the Ignition Interlock Device Program and the Board of Paroles and Pardons, with a voice-to-text option. The announcement does not describe any use in supervision decisions.
