PAI-AFEB1B05Named by 404 Media as having bought access to Raven (formerly GeoSpy), which estimates where a photo was taken, including which listed property an interior photo shows. How often it is used is not published.
Update, November 2026. 404 Media reported on 12 February 2026, from internal police emails it obtained, that the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office and the Los Angeles Police Department had bought access to GeoSpy, the tool since renamed Raven by its maker Graylark Technologies; it described these as the first confirmed purchases by law enforcement. The only email quoted, from the sheriff's office Cyber Crimes Bureau, says it "is piloting a new analytical tool called GeoSpy" and that early testing "shows promise for developing investigative leads". 404 Media's article of 12 October 2026 repeats that both departments bought access to Raven; neither article gives a contract, date or usage figure for either department, and no email from the Los Angeles Police Department is quoted. Because the only evidence is a purchase, with no source showing use, the status is corrected in November 2026 from operational to proposed.
