Lieutenant-Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu instructed police officials to aggressively adopt modern technologies during his first visit to Police Headquarters after assuming office on Wednesday. Speaking at a meeting with senior officers, he directed the force to deploy Artificial Intelligence, drones, Facial Recognition Systems, and social media monitoring tools. Sandhu emphasised that these technologies should be utilised for advanced crime prevention in the city.
