Notes
The Police and Crime Commissioner reported a deployment on Watford High Street on 27 February 2026 using cameras on two police vans: 56,232 faces scanned, one alert, no false alerts and four arrests. The commissioner describes the technology as being rolled out "as business as usual". In October 2026 the force introduced two dedicated vehicles to widen its use (regional reporting).
