Notes
Computer Weekly reports that Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire constabularies 'have access to the platform' through Bedfordshire Police, which leads the Project Nectar pilot within the Eastern Regional Special Operations Unit. Nectar is described as built on Palantir's Foundry framework and connecting existing police data sources under a unified view; A Palantir spokesperson is quoted: 'How that software is used to process data is entirely under the control of the customer.' Computing, reporting on a Financial Times count, also lists Hertfordshire among 12 English forces involved in Palantir pilots, without force-level detail. The Hertfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner's office answered two 2025 requests about Palantir and Nectar (FOI 0017/25 and 0023/25) by saying it does not hold the information; the second response suggests asking the Constabulary. No Hertfordshire statement on its own use, start date or contract was found, and the Computer Weekly article carries no publication date.
