Police in Vancouver are increasingly deploying automated drones that can launch themselves after an officer sends a signal. The police department says operators of the new devices constantly weigh privacy concerns during operations. Outside of law enforcement, drones over the city are used to capture property listings for real estate agents and sunset views for tourists.
