Notes
ADS Advance reported on 14 October 2026, from a Digital Leaders AI Week webinar on 13 October given by Warwickshire Police's Alex Taft alongside the chief executive of Great Wave AI, that the force uses an audit workflow combining eight "AI agents" with robotic process automation to review records in its crime reporting system, checking whether victims were served well and whether risks to victims, suspects and others were considered, before grading investigation quality. Results feed a dashboard used by senior officers to target training. The article says the coupling with automation "has enabled a volume of audits that would not have been feasible manually". The force's wider AI programme began in July 2025 with three use cases and had grown to 12, of which six were live; the article does not say when the audit workflow started. It says Great Wave AI initially led development and that the force then sought to build its own capability. Taft is quoted: "AI guides, but it never decides." A contract notice shows Warwickshire Police made a direct award to Great Wave AI Limited under the G-Cloud 14 framework on 10 June 2025, worth £50,760 (up to £118,440 including VAT and a possible extension), "to enable Warwickshire Police to explore generative AI functionality". The article gives no accuracy figures.
