Notes
Live 5 News reported on 5 October 2026 that Mount Pleasant has 20 permanent Flock cameras and two portable ones, according to Police Chief Mark Arnold, most of the permanent cameras at town entrances and exits. Town council began examining use of the technology on 5 October, including who can access the data and how searches are monitored; the article reports no vote and says the cameras remain in place. ICE is not on the town's access list, the article says, and FBI and DEA access is limited to task force investigations. Start date not given.
