Loudoun Now reported on 16 March 2026 that the sheriff's office confirmed four fixed trailer-mounted Flock cameras, the number it reported the previous year, according to spokesperson Chad Quinn. Quinn said data is stored for 21 days and the cameras compare plates against law enforcement databases. The office also operates 58 plate readers from other vendors, recorded separately. Loudoun Now reported on 23 July 2025 that, according to Quinn, the Flock cameras have been in use since 2023 and are covered by General Order 401.8, and that Flock data obtained by 404 Media showed 263 searches as of April 2025 and sharing with 129 Virginia agencies.
