The DHS 2025 AI Use Case Inventory (entry DHS-P1, as consolidated by the Office of Management and Budget) lists 'Normalization Services' as deployed. The entry says machine learning normalises HSI case-file data: it turns less well-defined addresses into usable ones, infers identifier types such as a social security versus driving licence number, categorises name parts and validates phone numbers. It is listed as built with Booz Allen and classed as not high-impact.
