Notes
The DHS 2025 AI Use Case Inventory (entry DHS-2575, as consolidated by the Office of Management and Budget) lists 'Blockchain Analysis' as deployed. The entry says the platform gives confidence scores for address attributions, risk flags based on behavioural typologies, links across blockchain networks and plain-language summaries of smart contracts, to help investigators detect illicit activity. DHS says investigators review and validate the outputs before adding them to any case management system. DHS presumed the use high-impact and determined it is not.
