Notes

The Justice Department's 2025 AI use case inventory (entry DOJ-0234, as consolidated by the Office of Management and Budget) lists 'JPATS Mobile App (Biometrics)' as deployed. The entry says the JPATS mobile app identifies a prisoner's record from the mobile manifest more quickly. It names Rank One Computing as vendor, gives an operational date of February 2020 and classes the use as not high-impact.
