Notes
The Justice Department's 2025 AI use case inventory (entry DOJ-0232, as consolidated by the Office of Management and Budget) lists 'Axon Video Retention Solution (VRS) - Transcription' as deployed. The entry says Axon's evidence system makes first-pass transcripts of spoken language in video and audio, not complete until a person validates them. It gives an operational date of May 2021 and classes the use as high-impact.
