Notes
"The Use of AI and Other Emerging Technology in Policing (Including LFR)", paper to the London Policing Board Performance, Finance and Delivery Committee on 23 July 2026, lists Copilot chat, "a tool available within the Microsoft suite of products", among the Met's uses of AI, for general productivity and administrative support, and says: "We have created training material and practical guidance for officers and staff". It says the guidance, including dos and don'ts, is kept under review. It does not say whether the Met also uses the licensed Microsoft 365 Copilot, and gives no licence numbers, start date or scope of use.
