The Justice Department's 2025 AI use case inventory (entry DOJ-0082, as consolidated by the Office of Management and Budget) lists 'Data & Analytics: Gunshot Detection System' as deployed. The entry says the system rapidly locates gunshots and activity of investigative interest and alerts relevant law enforcement agencies.
