Notes
The DHS 2025 AI Use Case Inventory (entry DHS-2388, as consolidated by the Office of Management and Budget) lists 'CBP Translate' as deployed. The entry says the app gives officers and agents translated text or audio when human translators are unavailable, and officers can photograph non-travel documents for translation. DHS classes the use as high-impact and cites the CBP Translate Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA-069).
